Student Code of Conduct

By accepting enrolment with the Academy of Fitness you agree to:

  • Comply with the Student Enrolment Guide including the terms of use of the Academy of Fitness Knowledge Base 

  • Use the official student communication channel which is accessed via the online learning platform

  • Be respectful, courteous, honest and co-operative with Academy of Fitness representatives

  • Refrain from rude and negative attitudes and behaviour

  • Be proactive in sourcing and reading information already supplied to you and understand that the Academy will not give information previously supplied to you unless there is a genuine reason (such as documents destroyed by natural disaster)

  • Wait up to 48 hours or a longer period as required by the Academy for a reply to an issue you may be having with your enrolled course

  • Ensure that you regularly check your nominated email address that you provided upon enrolment for official correspondence from the Academy

  • Reply within 7 days to any written correspondence with the Academy

  • Notify the Academy in writing within 7 days of any change to personal details such as email address, phone number and postal address

  • Behave in an ethical and honest manner and not engage in any form of academic misconduct including cheating, plagiarism or attendance at training/assessment activities that you are not eligible to participate in.

  • Take your learning seriously and endeavour to fulfil all course requirements

  • Respect the intellectual property associated with provided materials and comply with all copyright requirements


Terms of use | Academy of Fitness Knowledge Base and online student groups (including student facebook group)

  • Students are expected to search the Knowledge Base prior to lodging a ticket

  • Students are expected to re-read their official enrolment letter and any other official correspondence from the Academy prior to lodging their ticket

  • It may take up to 48 hours or a longer period as required by the Academy for a reply to a lodged ticket

  • Students are expected to maintain an acceptable level of use of the Knowledge Base and ticketing system and must ensure that they refrain from frivolous, malicious, excessive, or inappropriate use of the system or any Academy of Fitness online student group (for example: student facebook group). The Knowledge Base, ticketing system and online students groups are shared with all Academy of Fitness students and must be utilised with consideration for others who also use these systems. Unacceptable use includes lodging multiple tickets asking the same question, lodging multiple tickets within a short timeframe, lodging a ticket and also calling, emailing or using other communication channels to ask the same question, lodging frivolous or excessive tickets and/or using rude, disrespectful, aggresive or threatening language including the use of emojis, multiple exclamation marks and caps lock.

  • Any lodged tickets that ask a question that can be found in the Knowledge Base will not be replied to

  • Multiple lodged tickets that continue to ask the same question without waiting for a response from the Academy will not be replied to

  • Any communbication to the Academy that contains rude or disrespectful content such as text in capital letters, exclamation marks or offensive statements will not be replied to

  • The Academy of Fitness may at its discretion and without notice, temporarily or permanently block any student or person from using the Knowledge Base and/or ticketing system and/or Academy online student groups (for example: student facebook group)
