The published Student Enrolment Guide has important information with regards to your ability to access the internet and your ability to access the following:
Computer (either desktop or laptop) with unrestricted Internet access
Windows 7 or newer OR Mac OSX 10.7 or newer
Internet Explorer 10 OR Google Chrome 27 (recommended browser for full functionality) OR Mozilla Firefox 21
Broadband speeds of 256kbit/sec or faster is recommended in order to access web content such as videos and images without delays. Slower internet speeds may experience buffering issues and slower load times.
Sufficient software and hardware to download and upload these format files: doc, dox, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, move, wmv, mp3, mp4, pdf, png, jpg, jepg, gif.
If you have limited or restricted access to internet, we recommend that you source and access internet facilities which are not restricted in order to complete your studies. We recommend internet access from sources such as family, friends, internet cafes or local and state libraries if you do not have personal access to the internet.
Please note that some components of your enrolled course can be accessed via apple and android mobile or table devices however the Academy does not guarantee that all components of your enrolled course can be accessed by your particular brand device.
If you are using a particular mobile or tablet device which does not support reading all file formats, please see some troubleshooting options for you below:
- download the file from your computer or mobile and transfer to your tablet via email so that the file opens in the email application rather than the Academy app.
- download the file from your computer or mobile and transfer to your tablet via dropbox, evernote or similar program
- if it's an issue with viewing pdf files, install Adobe PDF Viewer from Google Play.
- use a different device to view the files
